Testimonials

Dear Glenda,
Just a note to thank you for the wonderfully uplifting workshop you provided to our staff group. Many times our staff meetings are serious and sometimes stressful; it was such a breath of fresh air to enjoy your optimistic speech on how to see the positive in every situation both at work and home. In a work climate of major changes, and stressors such as accreditation and lack of resources, the staff needed at least once to leave the staff meeting with some happy positive thoughts. Your workshop did more than achieve this. It was a pleasure to see the smiling faces at the end of the presentation and I could feel the change in morale. Many of the staff thanked me for introducing you and commented on how much they enjoyed the presentation.
Hopefully you will be available again but I am sure you will be in demand in many places so we will book early
Thank you again.

I have attended several of Glenda Standeven’s presentations. Glenda’s ability to blend humour with her passion for her subject material moves and motivates audiences. Glenda creates a perfect environment for learning and for motivation.

I first saw Glenda at the District Conference in Nanaimo.  I thought she was a wonderful and commanding speaker.
At the Toastmasters WOW! Event in Port Moody  ...  the audience howled with laughter ...

That's Glenda!  WOW!

Glenda Standeven's has an amazing ability to draw emotion and passion in to her speeches. She doesn't tell the audience... she takes her audience there.

--Gene Vickers

I had the pleasure of working with Glenda on the 2007 Fall Conference Committee.   I was not on her team but I could tell she was a great leader and motivator.   Leading up to the weekend and during the weekend, everyone was all smiles, professional and supportive.   That is the sign of a great leader and motivator.   I have also heard Glenda's presentations and her speeches are full of passion, sincerity and conviction.   Glenda's presentations/messages are always about helping and assisting others, it's never about what she will get out of it.  She is down to earth and easy to talk to as well.

I was so inspired when I heard Glenda speak.  She spoke with humour.  She kept the audience attention throughout her entire speech all the while standing on one leg.
What I saw, was that she is not one to expect special treatment or expect to be catered to.  Glenda appeared to me to be a very strong individual that has a great deal to offer many people.
I will go to hear her speak again.  She is great.
