Welcome to Jenglen Books!

Currently, Jenglen Books has published their first illustrated children’s book, Who’s Chasing Me? This easy to read book is suitable for students up to a grade four level. Their second book, The Feather Tree, will be completed early in 2010. Watch for its release date to be announced on this page.

About the book:

Who’s Chasing Me? is a delightful story about friendship, imagination, and facing your fears. Parents and grandparents will enjoy reading this book with their children and grandchildren and spending time examining the details in each illustration. An activity page is included at the end of the book to help children learn to pay attention to details.

Readers will enjoy making up their own list of items to find in the wonderfully detailed illustrations in the book.

About the creators of Jenglen Books:

Glenda Standeven
is much in demand as an inspirational speaker and author living in Chilliwack, BC with her husband Rick and their youngest son, Andrew. Their oldest son, Kevin, also lives in Chilliwack with his wife, Kimberly. After Glenda lost her entire right leg to cancer in 1988 she decided to make a difference by working with children. She presents her unique ‘Smoking Awareness Program for Teens’ to middle school students across Canada and received the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award in 2005.

Jennifer Wakefield
is a very talented artist who resides in Kamloops, BC. She inherited a love of nature from her father and grandfather during their many adventures in the BC wilderness. Jennifer is also a registered nurse who travels across Canada working in remote settings. This is Jennifer’s first published children’s book but she is currently working on other projects with her business partner, Glenda.
